Erin Erin~! New Wallpaper Very short post, basically, I’ve been using the same wallpaper for over a year, and today, I’ve changed it. Granted, the new wallpaper has essentially the same thing, Yuyuko Saigyouji, The Ghostly girl in the Netherworld Tower, The Innocent Ghost, The Ghost from the calamitous nirvana among other names. A character in the world of Gensokyo from the series of games collectively known as Touhou. Along with Yuyuko is Saigyou Ayakashi, the youkai cherry blossom tree. More info at TouhouWiki

Japan Packages #2 Yesterday, I got a second set of parcels from Japan from my friend, who’s generous enough to spend some of his busy time, from tutoring the school girls and tutoring the school boys, to get me some items of utmost importance :3 Today’s post will be a quick run through of the items I got in the two parcels~

GOOD APPEAL!! Japan Packages Today, I got what I wanted for a whiiillee~ I have a friend who’s staying in Japan for a year on the JET program (teaching english etc). Now, he’s also a fairly obsessive otaku and a kind one at that, he’d get stuff that I wanted from Japan that would otherwise be unavailable, or too costly for me to get.Today two packages came in the mail from him :3 This is all the things he managed to get for me during that whole summer event period in Japan, I wish I had given him more money… Again, apologies for crappy indoor shots~
New poll, future updates
Admin Updates A quickie, New poll is up. Judging from the previous poll, 1600×1200 sized photos are fine with you guys, so I’ll keep it like that :3 I’ve been wondering if I should put a tutorial on weathering small trading figures such as Mecha Musume to make them look more “real”. Some techniques should be familiar to military modelers and to a lesser extent Gunpla modelers. The new poll will be asking if you want to see a series of short and sweet tutorials, I’m not an expert either but I’d like to help if I can. In terms of future updates, Manifest is around the corner, and I’ll be taking some of my figures to take photos around the beautiful Melbourne University campus. You see, Manifest is my excuse >.> Anyone else going to Manifest? Or is there anything else you’d like to ask about the possible Mecha Musume tutorials?
