After a week of fiddling around and playing with Miku I managed to get this piece done.
It was quite difficult for me since I havn’t had any musical training since…2003? And even then I wasn’t that great ^^;
It also doesn’t help that my Japanese isn’t all that good either~
I’m not sure if I’ll be doing any other Miku renditions of songs, but who knows, enjoy this one XD
So I did two versions, one with just Hatsune Miku, and another with her and the original singer FictionJunction YUUKA.

I had quite a bit of trouble figuring out how to use all the properties of Miku’s voice, and I know I still got a lot to explore. I don’t really see myself doing this all the time but it sure was fun trying different things… like making her say onii-chan :3
The image of Miku in the video was made to look similar to the original cover by FictionJunction YUUKA
The actual drawing of Miku tho was done by かぐらゆうき (Kagura Yuki) who happened to be the one that also drew Yayoi on the top headers you see.
Anyway, Miku’s voice was obviously done in VOCALOID2, the mixing was done in Adobe Audition 2.0, imagery was done in Adobe Photoshop CS3, video in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and encoding by VirtualDub.

And “Akatsuki no Kuruma” is one of my fav song, even if I’ve never seen Gundam Seed, but that’s FictionJunction YUUKA ^^;

cute voice… so loli :D to think that voice is a synthesized voice.. when you mentioned about synthesized voice on your previous post I didnt think of this kind of voice, especially if the voice can sing like this :O

Crazy Cool! I can see the difference in quality as the song progress, I guess you’re getting better at it as you go. But really, pal, don’t go gung ho on the “moe” setting. It’s a bit weird when it sung completely moe. lol!
Stupid speakers at the LAN don’t work…-_- Will DL the MP3 for a listen, though.
I’m seriously thinking about the possibilities of actually having Miku -ACT-, as opposed to just singing. Do you think you can set up a way for her to speak that sounds like straight-off English?
@Adiroth, lol, I don’t think I’ll be doing it often ^^;
@Wavehawk, She can only pronounce Japanese characters since they didn’t add in the other phonetics, so if you want her to speak English, it’ll be with Japanese sounds, so expect engrish-like pronounciations ^^;
