mini photo report For those who don’t know, Supanova is a pop culture expo held across Terra Australis. Last weekend was Melbourne’s turn to hold the event. I managed to take a few photos here and there, I was mainly busy with events and helping out OzAnimart. Of notable mention, Yuko Miyamura (Asuka of Evangelion) and Tiffany Grant (Asuka of Evangelion… in English) were in attendance. One of the highlights was getting signatures from them on various merchandise. They both held a Q&A session too, and Miyamura-san even performed a line from Asuka as she fought the mass production Eva circling over Unit 2. No photos of them tho, apparently not allowed to take photos with them ;_; Anyway, below are some random photos, I’ll be uploading a photoshoot right after, which is not exactly the sort of photoshoots I normally do…
OH DESIRE! Friend of mine just received Beatrice from Volks Japan. Here’s a lil snapshop before we go to sleep for an early morning at Supanova.
iM@S 5th Anniversary! This. Was. Expensive. Behold, the bluray boxset for THE iDOLM@STER 5th Anniversary concert has finally arrived after a delayed release. I managed to get my hands on the limited edition which includes a box, and a DVD of “The H@ppiness New Ye@r P@rty !! 2011” concert. Each bluray (two in total) comes with a lil photo book from the night of the concerts (which was two days, I think). You even get to see Rie Kuguuuuuu~ which is kinda rare from what I gathered.
OMFG IT’S SPARKLE TIME I GOT IT IN, FINALLY :D Then again, my fault for picking SAL instead of EMS… I’m so cheap :P I still don’t know why I’m so obsessed with iDOLM@STER, I can’t even read Japanese fluently to play the game without a guide @_@ Hmm, prolly similar to those idol otaku, them and their crazy AKB48 fetish :D
A lil prezzie I was contacted a few weeks back by Tokyo Otaku Mode about helping them out with some feedback. Some other bloggers were also contacted too :3 I wanted to say thank you for all the lovely presents. A lot of advertisement material was in the package, but I LOVE these pamphlets and have a whole stack of them from my trips to Japan :D
