The photogenic idolisation of pixel, plastic and nonsense

Yesterday I received my package of iDOLM@STER trading figures, I’ve been waiting for these for a while. As soon as I saw the post office’s red and yellow package card in the mail box I immediately rushed out to the postie, it was close to closing for the day by the time I got there ^^;
For the photos you’ll have to excuse the terrible lighting, I still don’t have a proper indoor figure lighting setup…

A quickie, New poll is up. Judging from the previous poll, 1600×1200 sized photos are fine with you guys, so I’ll keep it like that :3
I’ve been wondering if I should put a tutorial on weathering small trading figures such as Mecha Musume to make them look more “real”. Some techniques should be familiar to military modelers and to a lesser extent Gunpla modelers. The new poll will be asking if you want to see a series of short and sweet tutorials, I’m not an expert either but I’d like to help if I can.
In terms of future updates, Manifest is around the corner, and I’ll be taking some of my figures to take photos around the beautiful Melbourne University campus. You see, Manifest is my excuse >.>
Anyone else going to Manifest? Or is there anything else you’d like to ask about the possible Mecha Musume tutorials?

Okies, short post, BECAUSE I FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES~! >8(
I can’t believe I forgot to take pictures…which goes to show how fun it was. For those who don’t know, Destiny Reunion is a concert by eminence. They specialise in anime and video game music orchestral performances and do tours all over the world. They are the premier symphonic musicians of today.

iiiihehehehehehe~ My iDOLM@STER master artist 2 arrived along with my 妖精帝國 (Yousei Teikoku, roughly Fairy Empire) Gothic Lolita Propaganda album :3
The master artist series of single from iDOLM@STER will feature a single idol per CD, within that CD will be a few of their image songs and covers with a lot of the seiyuu talking tracks in character.
Yousei Teikoku – Gothic Lolita Propaganda on the other hand, is their second album and features their more prominent songs.

For those that don’t know, the comment icons in which users can choose are from Shimada Humikane’s works, most of which are Mecha Musume.
Now I know not all of you are fans of the icons so I added a bunch more, all from Ushi’s (CWGP) artwork which is very cute :3
Anyone with a postcount of one can register an icon here so remember to pick one after you posted~
