Ahh… I love this. But I just have one niggling thing to bring up. I think ordering a café latte betrayed the sepia tones. It’s true that most espresso coffee has been around Melbourne from the 1950s but the connotation it has in America and popular culture is trendy, mid-90s Seattle type places. Maybe a flat white would look more modest for this style.

Personally, I would love to see a rather urbane and distinctly Melburnian shoot at Degraves St. or something one day.

See what I told ya, peeps nowadays don’t mind processed stuff since they’re too used to it. But really, I’ve also starting to find that **** raws = tons of cooking time in photoshop.
A safe method is to at least leave a wide histogram without over exposures so you can at least have a wider range to play with when you’re processing it with curves.

I agree with everyone else, the “post-processing” filter (I guess that’s sorta what it is) that you used on it was a very nice touch and quite fitting.

I’ve been looking at getting that Rin figure for a while but I still haven’t… Rin’s my favorite FSN character by far.

@Adun, the dreamy feeling is sorta what I'm aiming for so I guess that turned out fairly well ^^; @pp, agreed, unfortunately they didn't =/ but they did have some nice plates and cups :3 @Koshiko, Oh! Thanks :3 I've always loved experiemtning with post-processing but I didn't want to overdo it sometimes. This is one of those times where I had to do it to mask out the horrible sources images >.> @Zeroblade, I'm glad you guys actually like this experimentation, my friends have mixed feelings, some liking it, some absolutely hating it =/ @Hectic3, and driving through snow...@_@

Yeah, I really like what you did with the post processing. Not only does the cafe fit with the theme, but it has that old-world feel, with the sepia-like hues and somewhat hazy lighting.

I actually quite like the ‘heavy post processing’, gives it an older feel which fits in the maids and the cafe ;3

The photos actually look like fairly detailed digital works, like collector edition postcards or something along those lines. It’s nice to see a little experimentation or deviation from the normal point and shoot most people do since camera’s are so cheap nowadays.
